By using our e-signature services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Luma Sign's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Luma Sign provides a digital platform that enables users to send documents for electronic signatures ("The Service"). Our Service operates on a pay-per-signature basis and does not require user registration.

e-ID Signature Infrastructure: Luma Sign uses Signicat as our infrastructure provider for verifying and processing e-IDs and secure electronic signatures. By using The Service, you also agree to be bound by any relevant terms that may apply to the use of Signicat's services.
Luma Sign does not control the uptime, performance, or data integrity of Signicat's infrastructure and is not liable for any disruptions, authentication errors, or failures arising from or related to their systems.

3. User Responsibilities

Accuracy of information: You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when using The Service, including any details entered during payment or signature requests.
Third-Party services: You are solely responsible for any data you submit to third-party services integrated with Luma Sign (e.g., Stripe, Signicat).
Compliance: You agree to use Luma Sign in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Content Ownership: You retain ownership of any documents you upload but grant Luma Sign the right to process and store them as necessary to provide The Service.

4. Payment Terms

Payment Provider: Luma Sign uses Stripe to process all payments. By using The Service, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Services Agreement.
Valid Payment Method: You must provide a valid, authorized payment card at the time of transaction. Luma Sign does not store payment card details directly and relies on Stripe to manage this securely.
Transaction Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the payment information you provide is accurate and sufficient to complete the transaction. Any errors, failed transactions, or delays caused by incorrect data are your responsibility.
Fees: You will be charged per signature request. The applicable fee will be displayed prior to confirming each transaction.

5. Document Handling

Storage Duration: Documents are stored securely for a period of 7 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
Confidentiality: Luma Sign treats all documents as confidential and implements appropriate security measures to protect them.

6. Fair Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use Luma Sign in a fair and just manner and only for lawful purposes. This includes, but is not to:

Use The Service for any illegal or illicit purpose, including but not limited to fraud, impersonation, harassment, money laundering, or the distribution of unlawful content.
Upload, transmit, or request signatures for documents that contain illegal material or violate intellectual property rights.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of The Service.
Use The Service with the intention of disrupting, interfering with, or limiting the functionality of Luma Sign for others.
Exploit The Service in any manner intended to steal intellectual property, abuse platform logic, or undermine our systems.

Prohibited Content

Do not upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights. This includes, but is not limited to:

Child exploitation material
Hate speech, threats, or harassment
Misinformation or deceptive content intended to mislead
Malware, ransomware, or phishing schemes
Unauthorized sharing of personal or private information (doxxing)
Impersonation of individuals or entities
Promotion or facilitation of illegal goods, services, or activities

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to Luma Sign, removal of content, and notification to law enforcement where appropriate.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Luma Sign, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claim, liability, damage, or loss (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of The Service.

7. Limitations of Liability

Luma Sign is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of The Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for The Service in question.

You agree to hold Luma Sign harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your unlawful or inappropriate use of The Service, including but not limited to claims related to intellectual property violations, unauthorized document content, or third-party rights infringement.

Luma Sign is not responsible or liable for any issues, errors, outages, or data losses originating from or caused by third-party service providers, including but not limited to Signicat andStripe.

8. Termination

Luma Sign reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to The Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of The Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and any dispute arising from the use of The Service shall be settled by the courts of Copenhagen.
